Suppose you were approached and someone asked you, “Do you believe in the devil?”
How would you respond?
Maybe you would respond by saying “Yes! I believe in the devil!”
Then here is the next question – Why?
Why would a follower of Jesus Christ believe in the devil who is also known as Satan “the father of lies” or “the evil one”?

As a believer in God through Jesus Christ, we need to understand and be able to readily respond to such questions when need be.

Today’s message is the first of several in the series “Heroic Living” where we focus on the letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus. This letter is provided to us in the Bible within the book of Ephesians chapter 6.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
